1. Use of the service

SIMILE (“the game”) is a daily word game. By playing, you agree to these terms. You may only submit one answer per day per prompt. Do not attempt to circumvent limits, scrape data, or use the service for spam or abuse. Access to the admin area is restricted to designated administrators who sign in via a supported single sign-on provider (e.g. Google, Apple, Microsoft, Meta); you may not attempt to access admin functions without authorization.

2. Your content

You grant us a license to use your answers and any optional account data (e.g. email or phone) to run the game, show aggregate results, persist your streak, and to use anonymized or aggregate data for research or editorial purposes. We do not claim ownership of your creative answers.

3. Disclaimer

The game is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

4. Service availability

The game is provided free of charge. We may update, suspend, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice where practicable. We are not liable for any unavailability.

5. Changes

We may update these terms or the Privacy Policy. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be noted by an updated “Last updated” date.
